Evangelical Reformed Church in Poznan (website in Polish)

The church history goes back to early 1990s when a group of high school students in Gostyn, south of Poznan, attended a Bible study group lead by a Catholic priest. After the priest was forced to move to another city (because of his too Evangelical convictions) some of the young people left the Roman Catholic Church and joined a Baptist Church in Poznan. They stayed there two years and were forced to leave because of their newly acquired Reformed convictions (in the meantime they met Marek Kmiec and were influenced by him). They decided to start a new church in 1994. In 2004 it formed a presbytery together with Evangelical Reformed Church in Wroclaw. The ERC in Poznan is holds to the Three Forms of Unity and is a CREChurch since 2006. It meets in a coffee bar and has 28 members.

In 2003 a church plant in Legnica was started by the church in Wroclaw. There were three families there who were members of the Wroclaw church. There are regular Sunday services there. The church meets in Alek’s apartment. There are few new people who recently started coming to worship, there.
